The Swedish Radiation Safety Authority is led by a Director General appointed by the Government.
The Authority has three departments and one secretariat:
- Nuclear Power Plant Safety
- Radioactive Materials
- Radiation Protection
- Secretariat for International Co-operation and Development
There are also three support functions:
- Administration
- DG Staff
- Communication
